In 2015 was Lodewijckx co-oprichter van het online magazine en feministisch collectief Fille Folle. In 2017 verscheen haar gelijknamige boek Fille Folle bij uitgeverij Van Halewyck.
In september 2023 verscheen Donkerkiemer, “een bijzonder knap gecomponeerde en zowel psychologisch als filosofisch diepgravende debuutroman” (De Morgen) bij uitgeverij Pelckmans. Lodewijckx werkt momenteel aan een tweede roman.

Ilona Lodewijckx (°1992) lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. She writes prose, poetry, and non-fiction.
In 2015, Lodewijckx co-founded online magazine and feminist collective Fille Folle. The Fille Folle book was published by Van Halewyck in 2017.
In September 2023, Donkerkiemer, “a particularly cleverly composed and both psychologically and philosophically profound debut novel” (dixit Belgian newspaper De Morgen) was published by Pelckmans publishers. Lodewijckx is currently working on a second novel.

Op 21 december 2023 was Ilona Lodewijckx te gast op het jaarlijkse terugblikmoment van Behoud de Begeerte. Ze schreef en las een tekst getiteld ‘Smokkeldrang’. De andere genodigden waren Tinneke Beeckman, Willem de Wolf, Mohammed Ouaamari, Rika Ponnet en Suzanne Grotenhuis. Charlotte Remarque praatte de avond aan elkaar en Rosa Butsi zorgde voor muziek.
On December 21, 2023, Ilona Lodewijckx was a guest at Behoud de Begeerte's yearly retrospective. She composed and presented a piece titled 'Smokkeldrang’ (The Urge to Smuggle). Joining her were fellow guests Tinneke Beeckman, Willem de Wolf, Mohammed Ouaamari, Rika Ponnet, and Suzanne Grotenhuis. The evening was skillfully moderated by Charlotte Remarque, with musical accompaniment by Rosa Butsi.

Bij de Aanbevelingen voor een (nog) beter leven van Behoud de Begeerte zat ook journaliste Maya Toebat in de zaal. Zij liet zich inspireren door de tekst van Ilona Lodewijckx om een stuk te schrijven over spelen en prachtige onbezonnenheid.
At Behoud de Begeerte's annual retrospective, journalist Maya Toebat was part of the audience. Inspired by Ilona Lodewijckx's recommendations, she wrote a piece on play and playfulness for Belgian newspaper De Standaard.
